1. Definitions
heliobuddy: The service provider, based in the Netherlands.
User: Any natural person who uses the services.
Services: heliobuddy, heliobuddy Discover, heliobuddy Coaching, and heliobuddy Workbooks.
2. Applicability
These terms apply to all services of Helio. By using our services, you agree to these terms.
3. Nature of the services
Important
heliobuddy is not a replacement for professional mental healthcare. In case of serious complaints or emergencies, contact your GP or call your local mental health crisis line.
Our services are intended as support for self-discovery and personal growth. They do not replace diagnosis, treatment or advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
4. Use of the services
You may use our services for personal, non-commercial use. It is not permitted to:
- Use the services for illegal purposes
- Provide false information
- Circumvent the security of the services
- Share content that infringes on third party rights
5. Subscriptions and payments
Free services: heliobuddy (limited) and the first Discover session are available for free.
Subscription: Cancellable monthly. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current month.
Coaching sessions: Payment required in advance. Cancellation up to 24 hours before the session is free of charge.
6. Intellectual property
All rights to the content, software and services of Heliobuddy belong to Heliobuddy. The content of your personal workbooks and conversations remains yours.
7. Liability
heliobuddy strives to deliver reliable services, but cannot guarantee results. Our liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the services in the past 12 months.
8. Changes
We may change these terms. For important changes, we will inform you by email. Continued use after changes means acceptance of the new terms.
9. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
